Mendocino County workers keep the county running.

But short staffing is jeopardizing critical public services and endangering residents.

From public works to human services, Mendocino County employees work hard every day to keep our county running smoothly.

From filling potholes to protecting at-risk children, county workers are the backbone of Mendocino County.

But Mendocino County is experiencing an extreme staffing crisis due to low wages made even more unsustainable by a countywide housing shortage. Employees are leaving the County far faster than they can be replaced. Our services are failing, and our most vulnerable are at the greatest risk during this crisis.

Our community deserves better.

It’s time for
Mendocino County to staff up!

Send an email to the Mendocino County
Board of Supervisors here.

Tell them the County can and MUST do better to address its staffing crisis so residents can get the services they need and deserve.
